We use a range of evidence-based tools, including the ADOS-2, Vineland, and Sensory Profile, to identify developmental, sensory, and functional needs. This helps us shape therapy plans that truly match your child's abilities and goals.
Proper assessment can reveal the reasons behind certain challenges, offering a clear roadmap for effective intervention. Our occupational therapists combine clinical expertise with standardised tests to create an accurate picture of your child's capabilities.

Each assessment is chosen based on your child's unique presentation. We may use the ADOS-2 for autism diagnostic observation, the Vineland Adaptive Behaviour Scales, the Sensory Profile 2, the Miller Function and Participation Scales, or the Test of Visual Perception Skills (TVPS-3). Once we interpret the results, we work collaboratively with you to develop clear therapy goals and strategies that address your child's specific needs, ensuring targeted and meaningful interventions.
At Curious Minds, our Occupational Therapists provide mobile visits throughout the Bankstown area. We only support NDIS Self-Managed and Plan-Managed clients, offering expert and personalised services in the comfort of your own home or local community.
